Uganda, Africa – 2008

With a heart to preach the gospel to all nations, Summit set out to Jinja, Uganda in May 2008 to minister in schools, bring aid to orphans, minister to indigenous pastors, and bring salvation to the people. We were a witness to a resounding success!

Summit’s team of 12 missionaries, along with the Conquerors 9 (a team of athletes that perform feats of strength and preach the gospel) ministered in over 30 schools – some predominately Muslim – with music, skits, and dance. At the same time our team of pastors (from San Marcos, Michigan, and Malaysia) held a leadership conference where over 600 indigenous pastors and leaders were trained, equipped and inspired. We brought sandals and toys for the orphanage that Summit has supported for the last several years. For four evenings our whole team conducted crusades in a local arena.
