South Africa, Eastern Cape – 2021

Daniel ministered with Missionary Kelly Kosek on his missions base, orphanage, and hospital bringing the gospel to those in the Transkei region who were greatly impacted by Covid 19. 

Mozambique – 2019

Ministering in the beautiful country of Mozambique, we did school assemblies at the Iris Base in Maputo. Many children received Christ, as well as, were healed both physically and emotionally. Our team partnered with a local church for the first food distribution to their community. We continued this food distribution during the 2020 – 2021 Pandemic to this needy community under lock down in Mozambique.

& South Africa – 2018

Our team ministered at the Maputo Iris Base in Mozambique, many children, young adults saved and healed. Ministered at school assemblies, preached on soccer fields, and led thousands of youth to the Lord.

Botswana
& South Africa – 2017

This trip was led by Pastors Daniel & Theresa, a team of 12  young missionaries. We began our journey in South Africa at a youth conference at Pastor Surprize Sitole church, The Back Door, with Mel Tari sharing passionately with the youth, Our Summit missions team performed skits and dances for the conference, Later we traveled to Botswana where our focus was youth crusade meetings, and we also targeted high schools and elementaries where we held school assemblies and gave altar calls. We saw a massive harvest with over 3,033 souls saved throughout our mission trip. We also were able to experience the beauty of African nature at the Kruger National Park Game Reserve and experiencing a cheetahs & lion encounter.

South Africa – 2017

This trip was led by a strong leadership team of multi-church leaders from:  Summit, Awakening, Road to Life & Faith Chapel. We began in South Africa ministering to the Amandebele Tribe and King Makhonsonke II. We had a strategic meeting and time of prayer with the king then toured the kingdom.  We conducted a leadership conference to local pastors and ministers from Zimbabwe. We also had evening healing crusade meetings where we saw 10 deaf ears opened, and other notable healings. We preached in local churches and saw over 100 souls saved.

South Africa, Botswana,
& Zambia – 2016

This Mission trip began in South Africa, and followed the footsteps of famous Missionary David Livingstone,  the trip concluded in Zambia at the Victoria’s Falls, the world’s largest waterfall. We ministered in villages, churches, and did outdoor crusades. We saw over 843 souls saved, and numerous healings as we shared the gospel of the kingdom. We enjoyed the rich culture and beauty of the African people. We encountered the amazing African wildlife throughout our travels through five nations. 

Mozambique, Africa – 2015

A team of eight missionaries – four from Summit & four from South Africa brought the gospel to Mozambique with Evangelistic outreaches. We did hut to hut evangelism, showed the “Jesus Movie” to those who had never heard the Gospel. Our goal was to equip the indigenous pastors through leadership training and pastor conferences. Our evangelistic outreach resulted in many receiving Christ as their Savior.

Mozambique, Africa – 2013

Working with Luke & Kristin Rider of Cross Connection, a team of eight missionaries from Summit brought talking Bibles to Mozambique to distribute with Evangelistic outreaches. We did hut to hut evangelism, showed the “Jesus Movie” to those who had never heard the Gospel, and distributed Talking Bibles at various local churches. Our goal was equipping the indigenous pastors with the Word of God, and distributing Talking Bibles in their communities. We also performed school assemblies where we distributed school uniforms and presented the Gospel to hundreds of elementary children, many received Christ as their Savior.

Swaziland, Pretoria, Tzaneen, South Africa – 2011

This summer a team of 23 members from Summit, and Road-to-Life Churches began a journey in Swaziland. We were met at the airport by Missionary Luke Rider, we carried (60) Talking Bibles to be distributed in Swaziland. We had tremendous favor and were able to distribute Talking Bibles in the local hospitals, schools, and marketplaces. We were able to pray for the sick in two different hospitals. We also did an assembly in a local elementary school and presented the Gospel through Evangel-cubes to the students. In Pretoria, we ministered alongside Pastor Dries, Estie, Pastor Jeremiah, Pastor Josiah and their team. We ministered in the Shanty towns, orphanages and went door to door in neighborhoods. We prayed for the sick, and saw God heal deaf ears, and two blind eyes. In the evening we had an outdoor concert with the Summit Band and saw God save and heal many souls at the Crusades in Shanty towns. In Tzaneen, we teamed up with Pastors Bryan, Dianne, Maryna and the Shekinah House Team. We ministered at many Elementary and High schools with skits, songs, and the presentation of the Gospel. We were amazed at the freedom to present Christ in the public schools and saw a mass harvest of souls saved. We also ministered at several orphanages and did Treasure Hunts in the marketplaces. The last night was a Youth Concert at Shekinah House, we saw God touch many of the youth. The Mission trip to South Africa was awesome, we saw many healings, and we saw about 2071 souls saved throughout the trip, Glory to God!

Uganda, Africa – 2008

With a heart to preach the gospel to all nations, Summit set out to Jinja, Uganda in May 2008 to minister in schools, bring aid to orphans, minister to indigenous pastors, and bring salvation to the people. We were a witness to a resounding success!

Summit’s team of 12 missionaries, along with the Conquerors 9 (a team of athletes that perform feats of strength and preach the gospel) ministered in over 30 schools – some predominately Muslim – with music, skits, and dance. At the same time our team of pastors (from San Marcos, Michigan, and Malaysia) held a leadership conference where over 600 indigenous pastors and leaders were trained, equipped and inspired. We brought sandals and toys for the orphanage that Summit has supported for the last several years. For four evenings our whole team conducted crusades in a local arena. As a result of Summit’s fourth missionary trip to Uganda, thousands of lives were saved, healed, and delivered and given new hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Uganda, Africa – 2006

In the summer of 2006, Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones and Dan O’Dash led a team of twenty-three to Uganda Africa. Conducting school assemblies, the teams performed skits, sang, danced, and preached the Gospel. The teams visited orphanages and brought over 500 pairs flip-flops and toys for the children. The teams also ministered in local native churches, preaching and praying for the sick. Three nights of crusades ended the mission trip with over 1,800 souls being saved. The team prayed for the sick and saw God perform many miraculous healings. God truly blessed the mission trip with a harvest.

South Africa – 2004

2004 – Pastors Daniel and Theresa Jones and Dan O’Dash helped conduct a leadership conference in conjunction with James DeMelo Evangelistic Ministry for local pastors in South Africa. The ministry included a crusade and preaching in local churches.
